The study of land use system based on the local knowledge has done in March 2008 and 10 selected people from the village are involved in the study. The study was started to interview local people about their experience to use land or forest for farming, home garden, shifting cultivation, agroforestry, hunting, etc. Then the study is continued to conduct direct observation in the field. The results of study had also presented in April 2008 through a workshop which attended by 30 participants from different levels of the village communities (teenagers, youth people, genders, figures of local custom and figures of the village). Based on Tabel 7 indicated that the rest activities of the project are not finished, especially the main activities such as: (1) Implementation of management regime criteria and (2). Identification of ecotourism potential in Horale village. The next Table is shown the realization of the rest activities according to the second monitoring which done in September 2008.

The above Table showed that the ecotourism map is still in realization of 75 %. However the other activities have finished. In the implementation of the management regime criteria, Yayasan Toma Lestari has trained 30 farmers to practice the system. In the study of ecotourism potential, Yayasan Toma Lestari determined and trained 10 people to involve in group of study. They were trained on how to collect data and design the map of the ecotourism potential in their village.
