The results of the table 1 indicated that during the first three months activities of the project, 3 sub activities have finished with realization of 100 %. The main reasons for Kewang Haruku to finish this 3 activities as priority program were based on its cost, time and energy needs. In this project about 3000 seedlings were prepared for replanting the habitat of the Maleo birds and the down stream areas of the Wae Meme river. The number and species of the seedlings were 1000 seedlings of Rhizophora, 500 seedlings of Albizia, Callophyllum is about 500 seedlings, Barringtonia 500 seedlings, 500 seedling of Inocarpus, Intsia about 100 seedlings, Buea 100 seedlings, and Erythrina 100 seedlings.
The library for environmental issues has constructed with size of 5 x 5 m, and its walls made from wood boards and the roofs from sago palm leaves. Furthermore 3 bookcases were made for about 50 titles of the environmental books, and the other facilities such as: tables, chairs and 5 long benches for the readers were prepared. The second monitoring of the project which done in September 2008 is shown in the table 2.

During July 2008, study of environmental problems especially about forest ecosystem of Haruku village was done by expert from Pattimura University and the results indicated that the forest ecosystem of Haruku village are influenced and destroyed by the activities of the Haruku communities themselves. They are cutting the forest for shifting cultivation, to overcome house construction and fuel wood needs. In August 2008 the workshop of this result of study is presented and 20 participants from different levels of the communities in Haruku village attended the workshop.
Drawing competition between children was done in August 2008. 15 teenagers were attended the competition and it was evaluated by Department of the Education and Culture of Maluku Province. In this month some activities such as: planting seedlings in the areas of Maleo habitat, determining and preparing the materials and tools for training, and preparing 4 announcement boards to forbid environmental destructions were finished.
The training on water conservation and management of Maleo bird habitat has done in September 2008. 20 teenagers were attended the training and after the training they were practiced to plant forest. Website of Kewang Haruku has designed and promoted with number of www.kewang-haruku.org, and 500 date calendars and the rest seedlings have scheduled to finish in the first week of October 2008. Therefore we expected all the activities will finish in the second week of the October 2008.
